Terms and Conditions

1. Customer Responsibility: Customer confirms all items are legal, declared and packed properly.
2. Packed By Owner (PBO): Boxes, barrels and personal cargo packed by the customer are the customer’s responsibility.
3. Prohibited Items: No firearms, ammunition, explosives, hazardous materials, illegal substances or restricted goods.
4. Declared Value: Shipment value must be declared. Optional insurance is recommended for valuable cargo.
5. Customs & Import Duties: Customer is responsible for destination duties, taxes and required documents unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Delivery Time: Delivery dates are estimates only. Port, customs, carrier or weather delays may occur.
7. Storage Fees: Storage charges may apply when shipment is not collected after notice or after the free storage period.
8. Payment Policy: All balances must be paid before release, delivery or telex/clearance support.
9. Dispute Resolution: Disputes are handled under North Carolina business jurisdiction where applicable.
10. Agreement Confirmation: By submitting cargo, customer confirms the shipment contains no prohibited items and accepts ECCOGROUPE terms.
